Clarksdale Mississippi Music

Last night I was excited and looking forward to the annual Clarkdale Mississippi Music Festival in Jackson, Mississippi. It was a chance to celebrate the music that inspires and inspires me and it's one of my favourite events of the year.

The annual music weekend is sponsored by Charlie Musselwhite, whose roots stretch back to the Mississippi Delta Blues in the early 1960s and early 1970s. For many years he has been one of the most influential and influential blues musicians in Mississippi history, but more recently he has been the singer, songwriter, producer and producer for many of his own bands and is the co-founder and executive director of the Clarkdale Mississippi Music Festival, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit music festival in Jackson.

The Mississippi Delta Blues Heritage Festival began in 1977 and is now one of the largest blues festivals of its kind in the United States. It is the oldest blues festival in South Carolina and the first since the founding of the civil rights movement. For over 20 years, he has played at several blues clubs and clubs in Mississippi and Georgia, including several stops as lead singer and lead guitarist of a blues group in Memphis.

The success of the Delta Blues Heritage Festival has spurred the creation of festivals across the Mississippi Delta. People travel from all over the world to see the place where the blues began and to experience the Mississippi Delta. The blues scene was very popular here at the time, and a hefty dose of blues continued to resonate through Clarksdale and the rest of the Gulf Coast for many years afterwards.
